Te Māngai Pāho is pleased to announce the release of a music RFP with an enhanced focus and investment in Māori music.
Māori music is the lifeblood of iwi radio, and we have been able to increase our funding to produce music tracks and videos to $750,000.
This investment includes new funding of up to $50,000 for established Māori artists to create a Waiata Māori project that takes te reo Māori to a broad audience.
Approximately 80 tracks, 30 videos and three special Waiata Māori projects will be funded as part of the investment in Māori music.
