Te Māngai Pāho has begun the process of recruiting a new Chief Executive. It is anticipated that a new Chief Executive will be appointed and commence work in ther role before the end of the year. John Bishara, Chief Executive of Te Māngai Pāho, is stepping down from his post at the Māori broadcasting funding agency after nearly twelve years in the role. Te Māngai Pāho to Fund Music Videos

The Board of Te Māngai Pāho has agreed that it will extend the scope of the next Music Funding Round to include Music Videos. Te Māngai Pāho will contribute up to $6,000 per music video. The RFP for the final Television Funding Round is now available on Te Māngai Pāho website. Please note that this RFP is for Receptive and Second Language Learner categories only. Te Māngai Pāho has already achieved its target hours in Fluent category content. The Funding Round closes on at 5:00pm on Friday 12th February 2016.Te Māngai has released an RFP for Webseries. Te Māngai Pāho received a $3.375 million increase in baseline funding in Budget 2014. The additional funding has been provided to assist Te Māngai Pāho in funding the archiving of Māori audio visual content and the needs of iwi radio.
